Areas of Practice

Adolescents

Adolescence is a time of great change and challenge. For many it can be difficult to manage all of the new experiences that come with growing up. My work with teens includes addressing issues with peers, school, family, and the process of developing into their adult-self.

Adults

My goal working with adult clients is to work in a collaborative, problem-solving oriented manner to help them recognize and overcome difficulties that are holding them back from living the life they imagine. With a goal of finding happiness, purpose and satisfaction in life, I work to explore and challenge personal perspectives and situations that are leading to feeling stuck and dissatisfied.

Couples

Being part of a couple can be rewarding and challenging at the same time. Being able to communicate our wants and needs while also remaining connected, patient, and tolerant with our partners can be difficult, especially during stressful times in life. My goal is to help couples recognize patterns of disconnection that have developed in their relationship and to work to communicate and relate more effectively with one another.

Families

Families can provide us with so much including love, support, guidance and companionship. Sometimes, though, difficulties can arise leading to fractures in the relationships between the members of the family. I work to try and help family members recognize what their part of the struggle is and to create strategies that will help all individuals grow and connect. Ideally, working together to help build an environment based on respect and love that promotes both individual and family growth.
